Annick Gagne
We’re so proud of Annick, we gave her her own page! Annick Gagne came to us from Montreal, QC with her songs. She’s a great songwriter - artistic, unique, and easy to listen to - and just needed us to fill in the gaps. Annick provided demos of complete songs (with lyrics, melodies, and chord structures) and, with her guidance, we helped her get what was in her head on to “tape”.
After listening to her demos, we talked to her about the style, tone, and instrumentation appropriate for each song. Next, we made a rough sketch of ideas for the song and, after some feedback, tracked all the instruments. We provided a rough stereo backing track for her to sing along with in her home studio. Finally, she sent us individual wav. files of her vocals and we did a final mix.
And, just like that, she has a complete album.

I, for one, am very sad this journey is over. I worked for 4 months with them and all I can say is I wish I could work with them every freakin’ day!
