WHAT WE DO - The Virtual Studio Experience

Put simply, we help songwriters take their song sketch and develop it into a fully produced radio-ready hit. 

We’ve found that many songwriters either don’t have the time, money, contacts, or resources to put together a team of professionals to work on their music.  Because we work with you online, it doesn’t matter where you are or what your schedule is.  Essentially, we’re a fully-equipped studio complete with engineers, arrangers, professional studio musicians, and producers that live and work in your computer.  You could produce your next album from a beach, your bedroom, or even in your car!

And, unlike a traditional studio, we have affordable, set rates.  You’ll always know exactly what you’re going to pay ahead of time AND if you’re not happy with our work, we’ll refund your money.

THE PROCESS

1. SEND US YOUR SKETCH

First of all we need your song.  Don’t worry about the quality.  You can hum the melody into a tape recorder, play a guitar or keyboard and sing along with it, or send us a full arrangement.  As long as you feel the essential elements of your song are clear (you can describe it more in Step 2), it doesn’t matter to us what format it’s in.  You can e-mail us an mp3 or send a cd, tape, or dvd to TuneGopher, PO Box 147, Tecumseh, MI  49286..

2. FILL OUT THIS FORM

Our quick and easy TuneForm will help us understand exactly how you want your song to sound.

3. WE’LL REVIEW YOUR SKETCH AND FORM

A project manager will listen to your song and look over your sketch and form and then contact you (by email or phone - whichever you prefer) to discuss the song with you and answer any questions you may have before we start work on your song.

4. PAYMENT and WORK-FOR-HIRE AGREEMENT

Next, we’ll send you an invoice for a deposit equal to half of the total and a Work-For-Hire agreement.  The agreement describes the services we’ll provide and states that YOU are the sole owner of this song - no matter how much work we do on it - and that you own all rights to the song.

5. FIRST DRAFT

Once we receive the initialed agreement and payment, we’ll put together a quick draft of your song to make sure we start out in the right direction.  We’ll send an mp3 to you and ask for your feedback.

6. TRACKING AND ROUGH MIX

Next, we’ll track each instrument and send a rough mix to you.  We can send you each instrument as we record them or a full mix.

7. FINAL MIX

After we make any necessary changes, one of our pro mixing engineers will mix your song.

8. FINALIZING

Once you’ve approved the mix, we’ll send you a bill for the balance.  When we receive the balance, we’ll immediately send a wav file or cd to you of your completed song.
